Sindy Rebelo is a disabled artist that sells fabric paintings. Sindy is a true inspiration to a lot of people. Despite her disability she is allways ready with a smile or a joke and she is not lying down but trying to make a living.

Sindy became disabled at the age of 3 months. Sindy was diagnosed with cancer in October 2007 at the age of 34 and had to have a mastectomy.She then had chemo therapy, which she reacted very badly to. subsequently that was stopped. and then she commenced a new hormonal treatment prescribed by an oncologist in Margate,Which has cured her.The treatment is ongoing. She has to have hormonal implant every three months for the next two years. Then oral medication for the next 5 years..this comes at a cost of travel to Margate every 3 months with accomodation.

Sindy's mother has been unable to work since Sindy was diagnosed with cancer, because her basic needs became increased due to her weakness.
